How many does the largest chalet sleep?
Our largest chalets sleep up to 5, one queen bed plus single beds and sofa bed options. We have several configurations depending on what your family needs. Contact us before booking to confirm the best unit for your group.
Is the property safe for young children?
Yes. The grounds are fenced, there is no main road access through the property, and the open orchard gives children room to run around safely. Units are standalone so there is no worrying about noise from your own kids disturbing other guests.
Is there a kitchen in the family chalets?
Yes, every unit has a kitchen with stovetop, microwave, fridge, and all cookware. A lot of families do a mix of cooking and eating out. The Packhouse Market (Saturday mornings) is a short drive and a favourite for fresh produce and local food stalls.
What family activities are nearby?
Rainbow Falls is a 5 minute drive. Parrot Place is 10 minutes. The Stone Store and Kerikeri River Track are a 5 minute walk. Charlies Rock swimming hole is a short drive. Paihia and the Bay of Islands are 25 minutes away for dolphin watching, island cruises, and beaches.
